General information

Careverse has an international research and development team that collaborates with leading hospitals and research institutions worldwide.

The company has already launched over 40 AI-powered clinical applications and holds numerous intellectual property rights worldwide. Careverse’s products cover various medical imaging modalities, such as CT, MRI, ultrasound, X-ray and mammography. Using various AI product combinations, the entire disease management workflow is being redesigned – from screening and diagnosis to treatment decisions and follow-up care.

This comprehensive approach significantly improves the efficiency and quality of holistic management of the world’s most common and life-threatening diseases, including cardiovascular and neurovascular diseases, lung cancer, liver cancer, breast cancer and many others. Careverse offers integrated, intelligent and convenient AI solutions for imaging.

Digital Heart

Careverse’s “Digital Heart” product family is a leader in the application of AI for the automatic analysis of complex image data.

In the screening process, Careverse enables fully automated calculation of the uncontrolled coronary artery calcium score and quantifies calcification of the four branches of the coronary artery (left main trunk, left circumflex, left anterior descending, right coronary artery) based on the analysis of image data from a single chest CT scan. This enables risk screening for coronary heart disease in asymptomatic populations.

In the precise diagnosis process, Careverse’s Coronary CTA product revolutionises the traditional radiology workflow through fully automated vessel segmentation and image reconstruction. This innovation eliminates time-consuming post-processing and multi-step transfers between post-processing and diagnostic physicians, enabling fast, accurate assessments with the entire process completed in just one minute.

Certifications

Careverse now has four MDR CE marks, two FDA 510(K) clearances and one PMDA certificate. Thanks to their proven reliability and performance, the company’s products are an integral part of the radiology workflow. Careverse collaborates with leading research institutions in Japan, Southeast Asia, the United States and Europe, and the company’s products are used in hospitals across Asia, Europe, the Middle East and the United States. Given the enormous market, Careverse will continue to innovate with multimodal medical large language model technology, build an open, collaborative ecosystem, promote the comprehensive integration and application of AI technology in healthcare, and lead the new trend of intelligent healthcare services.

Digital Heart

The heart is one of the most complex organs in the human body and beats constantly. This makes imaging quite complex. Extensive clinical experience and in-depth specialist knowledge on the part of the doctor are therefore required for an accurate diagnosis of heart disease.

Careverse’s Digital Heart product family is a leader in the application of AI for the automatic analysis of complex image data. The aim is to accurately measure cardiac anatomy and various lesions and to present these key indicators in the intuitive and precise manner preferred by physicians. This supports the creation of diagnostic suggestions and preliminary reports. It significantly reduces the manual workload of radiologists, allowing them to spend more time on accurate diagnoses and smooth collaboration with other clinical departments.

In the screening process, Careverse enables fully automated calculation of the non-controlled coronary artery calcium score and quantifies the calcification of the four branches of the coronary artery (left main trunk, left circumflex, left anterior descending, right coronary artery) based on the analysis of image data from a single chest CT scan. This enables risk screening for coronary heart disease in asymptomatic populations.

In the precise diagnosis process, Careverse’s Coronary CTA product revolutionises the traditional radiology workflow through fully automated vessel segmentation and image reconstruction. This innovation eliminates time-consuming post-processing and multi-step handovers between post-processing and diagnostic physicians, enabling fast, accurate assessments with the entire process completed in just one minute. This significantly increases physician efficiency and improves the patient experience. Careverse’s unique coronary AI model and algorithm also deliver excellent image reconstruction and handle complex clinical scenarios such as bypasses, stents, myocardial bridges and ectopic origins with ease.

During morphological analysis of the coronary artery, physicians can also use Careverse’s CT-FFR product for functional analysis, further improving diagnostic accuracy. Compared to commercially available FFR analysis tools, Careverse’s fully automated CT-FFR product can generate results directly in the hospital. The calculation time is three times shorter than semi-automatic products, and no manual intervention is required. It is suitable as an objective and practical tool for functional assessment of coronary stenosis.

Careverse’s “Digital Heart” product family also includes intelligent analysis of vulnerable coronary plaques, pericoronary fat and CT cardiac function in the CT modality, as well as coronary MRA AI and CMR AI products in the MR modality. It can provide AI support for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiovascular disease at various stages.

Digital Abdomen

With its extensive experience in the medical imaging industry, Careverse naturally has a first-mover advantage in the era of large medical models and is bringing industry-leading AIGC solutions to market that not only better support radiologists, but can also be of great help to doctors in all departments of the hospital and are used in hundreds of hospitals.

When a patient with liver disease comes to the imaging department for examination, Careverse’s AIGC solution can serve as a digital assistant to doctors throughout the entire process.

Post-processing assistant: The anatomical structure of the liver is complex. Surgical history, tumour compression or cirrhosis of the liver can lead to abnormalities in the liver substance and the hepatic duct system, making it difficult to accurately segment the liver and lesions. Regardless of which imaging examination the patient undergoes (e.g., X-ray, CT, MR, US, pathology, etc.), clinicians can now use Careverse’s leading large language model for medical imaging to automatically segment, recognise, and classify image data. This significantly reduces post-processing time.

Diagnostic assistant: Due to the complexity and multifunctionality of the liver, liver diseases exhibit a variety of complex and diverse manifestations, making accurate diagnosis difficult. Careverse’s comprehensive language model can integrate and compare different modalities of image data from the same patient, creating an unparalleled basis for image diagnosis. In addition, it has learned a large amount of medical literature and clinical guidelines, can generate clinical reasoning analyses, and thus assist physicians in differential diagnosis, improve diagnostic accuracy in complex multiple diseases, and increase diagnostic efficiency by twofold.

Modelling assistant: Careverse’s comprehensive language model supports treatment decisions for liver diseases and has excellent 3D image generation capabilities. It can create film-quality renderings of human organ structures, enabling detailed examination of the course and interactions between interlobular vessels and bile ducts, providing physicians with a precise basis for more intuitive viewing of organ injuries and more effective surgical planning.

Report Assistant: During the examination and consultation process, Careverse’s comprehensive language model can interpret existing reports, extract important information, and automatically generate reports in real time based on examination and diagnosis results, while also checking for typos made by the doctor and helping doctors standardise their medical record writing.

Q&A Assistant: The AI agent, based on Careverse’s comprehensive language model, enables a new way of interaction between doctors and patients. It can conduct preliminary consultations and provide rehabilitation advice in dialogue. This contributes to the creation of comprehensive patient records and supports prevention, accurate diagnosis, treatment decisions, rehabilitation, and daily health monitoring.
