General information
Offers exceptional precision, ease of use and advanced clinical capabilities.
The Neoprobe® Gamma Detection System (GDS) is the heart of gamma-guided surgical procedures such as lymphatic mapping or parathyroidectomy. It is ingeniously simple – easy to start and easy to use – to spare your patients the potential complications of open surgery.

Neoprobe features at a glance
- The gamma detection system that enables remote control from outside the sterile field.
- Detects six isotopes
- Target counts and 10-second counts can be performed remotely from any of the Bluetooth probes
- No calibration or preventive maintenance required
Advantages
Exceptional precision
Neoprobe Bluetooth probes deliver outstanding accuracy and sensitivity, ensuring highly precise localisation of target tissue in gamma detection procedures.
Easy to use
The Neoprobe GDS offers quick and easy start-up without calibration, no preventive maintenance and a one-touch remote counting function within the sterile field.
Clinical advantages
Neoprobe’s Bluetooth function provides the surgeon with advanced data when both Tc-99 and I-125 have been administered simultaneously. The Neoprobe GDS provides individual counts for each isotope and a filter that indicates whether the user is closer to the injection site or to a radio seed – all in real time.
Flexibility
The Neoprobe GDS console can be tailored to the specific clinical requirements of the procedure. It can detect six isotopes, be configured for the detection of localised or systemic injections, and simultaneously detect and filter I-125 and Tc-99.
