Insert the Easy-Click cassette, close the cover, connect the patient tube, attach the media container – and everything is ready for the first injection!

For each subsequent injection, only the patient tube needs to be changed – the Easy-Click cassette can remain in the injector for 24 hours and for any number of injections.

The three media slots allow you to selectively choose a second contrast medium. The function of switching between two identical contrast media also makes workflows easier.

With approximately 70,000 new cases each year, breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in Germany. Mammography is currently considered the most effective method for the early detection of breast cancer in women between the ages of 50 and 69.

However, in some cases, conventional digital mammography is not sufficient to detect malignant tumours. The contrast between the tumour and the surrounding tissue may be so low that it is obscured by normal glandular tissue. To increase this contrast, contrast-enhanced mammography is now increasingly being used.

ulrich medical has expanded the performance portfolio of its user-friendly Max 2M and Max 3 injectors to include contrast-enhanced mammography (CEDM/CESM) and MR mammography. The small base of the injectors ensures sufficient space in the examination room. Accurate bolus administration improves the quality of imaging, and the continuous flow of contrast medium also ensures a fast and effective workflow.

1 sec NaCl injection with flow rate 0.15 ml/s

• Residual quantity display:

KM and NaCl are displayed visually in ml on the injector and terminal

If the KM volume is insufficient, the missing KM quantity is automatically replaced by NaCl during the injection.
